You’ll be introduced to core nature-connection practices that cultivate presence and awareness. Includes a “forest tea” ceremony.
Part 2: Ikebana | Japanese Art of Flower Arrangement with Akemi Sagawa
Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement has a history of over 600 years. In the pursuit of a deeper understanding of Ikebana, many different schools have evolved. This introductory session is designed to give you an opportunity to learn the basics of Sogetsu School of Ikebana, one of the most widely known.  You will learn the basic rules and techniques for composing the Ikebana structure, as well as learning how to use basic tools such as Ikebana scissors.
