Event Info:
Geared to parents and children, this program allows everyone to hear the story of how the Rosencrantz family made lots of money from new technology in 1840's, enough to let them build this Gothic Revival Mansion.  You'll get hands-on experience powering a cotton mill with water, and enjoy a scale model of the mill and its surroundings on Ho-Ho-Kus Brook.  Lecturer Marion Brown brings to life some of the children who worked at the mill.
