Paediatric Cardiac Electrophysiologist, Dr. Anica Bulic, is pleased to be hosting the Second Inherited Arrhythmia Symposium on Sudden Cardiac Arrest - From Event to Prevention, in the beautiful capital of Zagreb, Croatia. The aim of the 2nd inherited arrhythmia (IA) and cardiomyopathy symposium is to discuss new advances in the care of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) survivors and screening of their first-degree family members. This symposium builds upon the success of the inaugural IA symposium held two years ago, which focused on the fundamental IA and cardiomyopathy conditions that are causes of SCA.
This 2nd symposium integrates the knowledge gained from the inaugural symposium and discusses how to care for the SCA survivor out in the field, diagnosis in the hospital, prevention with ablation and/or secondary prevention medical devices, to screening of first-degree family members. The ultimate goal is to improve survival of SCA survivors in Croatia and broader Southeastern Europe.
Our Distinguished Speaker for this event is world-renowned Cardiac Electrophysiologist, Dr. Michel Haissaguerre, who will be presenting on how to uncover the cause of a sudden cardiac arrest in a thoughtful and contemporary way.
There will be plenty of opportunities to network with colleagues and other experts in the field of Electrophysiology and Cardiology.
