This past year has been just amazing for Zouk in Scotland with so many passionate people falling in love with this dance and working hard to make it great. And to celebrate we have prepared a super special event for you with the EPIC artists that are Iago and Ninna from Brazil.

They are truly amazing and super sought after, having toured around the world and regularly featuring in huge congresses. They are known for their progressive teaching with lots of foundation, and we are so lucky to have them!

What you get:

  • 8 hours of progressive learning with some of the most modern Zouk methodologies, including assisted practice sessions to drill down the content with the help of the teachers
  • 2 evenings of social dancing to try out the moves and fully enjoy the dance
  • A rare chance to learn from Congress level artists
  • An opportunity to spend some time in a beautiful and ancient city
  • A comfortable mirrored studio with sprung wooden floors in one of the most beautiful areas in Edinburgh

About Iago & Ninna
Iago Pinho and Ninna Zatta are Brazilian Zouk artists and competition judges; coming to Scotland all the way from Vitória-ES. They are not only accomplished teachers but they also are well known for organizing and DJing.

Iago started his dance journey in Brazil with 14 years old and has been teaching for over a decade. He studied with great professionals like Jaime Aroxa, improving teaching techniques with the Jaime Aroxa‘s methodology. Ninna is also Brazilian and has been dancing zouk for over eight years and teaching for six years.

They made their partnership official in 2022 and together they have been touring all over the world (16 countries and counting!) and sharing their art at congresses and workshops in different continents. You may have seen them at ZNY in Rio De Janeiro, Warsaw Brasil Carnaval, Berlin Brazilian Zouk Lambada United, Portugal Brazilian Zouk Festival, Holland on Fire or Ramalhos Zouk Festival; just to name a few!

They are currently certified Jack & Jill judges for the Brazilian Zouk Dance Council, and part of the Zouk Needs You team, by Val and Vanessa, focused on training and developing Zouk techniques.

Obviously we don’t know everyone personally (even though we’d love to!) so we can’t vouch for your compatibility in accommodation sharing so make sure you have a good chat with them beforehand and feel comfortable with that person.

ORGANISE A GROUP: If you are from another city and are looking to organise a group please reach out to us. We can’t promise anything but we may be able to get you a small discount 😊
