Women on a Mission organises challenging expeditions, dynamic marketing campaigns and events to raise awareness and funds for women survivors of war, and to support and empower women who have been subjected to violence and abuse. International Justice Mission is a global organisation that fights to end modern slavery and abuse.

Keynote Speaker: Christine Amour-Levar
Christine Amour-Levar is a French-Swiss-Filipina Philanthropist, Record-Breaking Adventurer, Best-Selling Author and Human Rights & Sustainability Advisor. She started her professional journey at Nike working across the world and went on to build a global career as a marketing & communications expert and social entrepreneur intent on solving some of the world's most pressing issues.

A passionate champion of female empowerment and environmental conservation, Christine founded not one, but two award-winning non-profit organisations, Women on a Mission (WOAM) and HER Planet Earth. HER Planet Earth's primary objective is to raise awareness and funds for underprivileged women affected by climate change, while WOAM aims to empower women who have been subjected to violence and abuse. Both organisations take all-female teams on pioneering expeditions, as a way to support worthy causes. These challenging expeditions involve trekking across remote and untouched places around the world, from the Arctic Circle to Antarctica, from mountains in the Himalayas, to deserts in the Middle East and Africa.

Wai Jia is an award-winning humanitarian doctor, keynote speaker, author, artist and global health expert who has consulted for World Health Organization and UNICEF to impact underserved communities around the world with better lives. As a Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) specialist who empowers marginalized communities, Wai Jia uses her edge in art & storytelling to cultivate creative strategies in health communication to bring life-changing behavioral change to those in need.

As the founder and CEO of Kitesong Global, an international non-profit that inspires youth to catalyze change among underserved communities, and the founder of “My Brother SG”, a multi-sectoral platform that empowers migrant workers with better health at the National University of Singapore Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, she has raised over a million dollars for underserved women, children and migrant workers around the world. Wai Jia’s life of unrelenting passion inspires people to pursue their dreams with unabandoned fervor.

Panel Discussion: Women’s Contributions in Asia - Sustainable Growth and Priorities 
Panel discussion moderated by Channel News Asia Editor Charlene Tan. Trained in France with an Infectious Diseases PhD; Charlene started her career in the civil service, honing skills in public policy strategy and communications. In her current role, she aims to provide insight to shape public conversations around breaking news and important issues.

Charlene will be joined by guest panel speaker Anna Soliman. A vigorous advocate of diversity in representation, Anna founded Pass Her The Mic, an initiative that amplifies the voices of women on conference stages. Since its inception in 2021, Pass Her The Mic has trained and championed 250 talented speakers across the tech and marcomms industries, and connected them to event organizers through the website passherthemic.com.

Charlene will also be joined by keynote speakers Christine Amour Levar and Dr. Tam Wai Jai in this focused discussion to explore the emerging trends and priorities for the sustainable growth and recognition of working women in Asia today. Our speakers will unpack the impact of economic empowerment, women in leadership, climate change, and digital inclusion.

Discussion will be followed by audience QA.
