On Sunday night, Tyron Woodley will look to end the hype of the Jake Paul boxing experiment when the two men step into the ring in Cleveland's Rocket Mortgage Field House. The action goes down at 8 p.m. ET on Showtime pay-per-view.

Jake Paul looks to continue building his career as a professional boxer on Sunday when he takes on former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in Cleveland. Paul, a social media superstar, will be trying to run his record to 4-0 against Woodley, who is making his professional boxing debut.

The fight is expected to be the biggest challenge of Paul's career after he picked up wins over a fellow social media influencer, a former NBA star and one of Woodley's friends, former UFC fighter Ben Askren. While Paul made light work of Askren, Woodley is a far more dangerous striker who picked up some highlight-reel knockouts in his accomplished UFC career.

"When I started boxing, I didn't think I'd be here this fast. My original goal was to fight Conor McGregor or Floyd Mayweather, because I knew I would have a big enough pay-per-view draw to do those things. Now I want to become world champion. I want to fight and beat Canelo Alvarez. This has been a fast, quick roller coaster ride, but I didn't expect to be here. I just knew I loved fighting and I knew I was good at it," Paul said at the final press conference.

"Tyron Woodley is 'The Chosen One', we chose him to get his ass beat. None of his accomplishments matter on Sunday night. I'm sending him into retirement and turning him into a meme. People are going to see all of my skills. People are going to be surprised. I haven't shown anything yet. I might come out southpaw. This is my coming out party."

Woodley stopped Robbie Lawler with authority in 2016 to claim the 170-pound title before making four straight defenses of the belt against tough competition. But it was the rough end to his run with the promotion that led to this opportunity. Woodley lost his final four bouts in UFC, looking extremely passive in three before going for broke in his final appearance in March and getting stopped in the first round. Now, at 39, Woodley looks to begin anew with the chance to shock many in the process

Paul, the YouTube influencer-turned boxer, is looking to remain perfect in his professional carer against his most dangerous opponent yet. Woodley is a former UFC champion and one of the best welterweights in mixed martial arts history. Woodley is also a far more accomplished striker than Paul's previous opponent, Ben Askren, another UFC veteran.

Four more fights fill out the rest of the main card on Sunday night. Kicking things off will be a potential future opponent for Paul in the form of Tommy Fury. He's the younger half brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury who rose to fame on British reality TV series "Love Island" as the runner up. Fury is 6-0 with four knockouts so far in his burgeoning career and a heavy favorite to beat Anthony Taylor. Plus, unified women's featherweight champion Amanda Serrano is back when she takes on Yamileth Mercado in the co-main event.
