Join us on the August Long Weekend 2022

We've been delayed 2 entire years but it looks like this is finally going to be the year! Please join us on the August Long Weekend 2022 for a Jamieson-Cave family reunion at Kivimaa-Moonlight Bay, Turtle Lake SK. This reunion is open to any and all Jamieson-Cave relatives for a weekend of family fun and kinship. We have tried our best to contact everyone, but please feel free to pass this website onto anyone we may have missed or send us contact information so that we can pass it along.

The cost for the weekend will include a catered supper on Saturday night, breakfasts, and tent rental. We ask everyone to supply all drinks for your family for the entire weekend and to please contribute baking, snacks, fruit or veggies throughout the weekend. We will also be organizing a potluck dinner on Sunday night with more details to follow. Please bring your own lawnchairs.

On the registration page, you have the option to pay by credit card, cheque or e-transfer. Please make cheques out to Jamieson-Cave Family Reunion and mail to 402 Atton Cres., Saskatoon SK S7W 0K7 or send e-transfer to [email protected]

As we have to pre-pay for everything, you must register and pay in advance. We have estimated the costs for the weekend and if there is any money left over from the registration fees, we intend to donate it to the Colby Cave Memorial Fund.

Bonfire

Join us at Nels and Dorothy's cabin for a bonfire 13 Archie Clampitt Drive. Please bring your own lawnchairs.

Tournaments/Games/Activities!!

Come on over to Andersens' cabin for the day. We will have various games/tournaments set up for the day including beach volleyball, horseshoes, golf ball toss and bones. Please feel free to bring any other games you have. We also certainly hope the sun is shining and there will be plenty of lake time for the kids and the adults who still act like kids!

Supper

Catered dinner at Dexter Hall (located 2 km north of Kivimaa-Moonlight Bay) with music and entertainment to follow. Within your own family groups, please come in a group costume. It can be something as simple as matching hats and t-shirts or full out costumes - be creative and have fun!

Breakfast will be served in the tent at Andersen's. We can always use extra help for set up and clean up.

Accomodations and Camping

Kivimaa-Moonlight Bay, Turtle Lake

Camping has been arranged at Kivimaa-Moonlight Bay in an open field across from the main beach and playground which is just down the road from Nels and Dorothy's cabin. As this is just an open field, there are no electrical or water hook-ups. Trailers can be brought in on Friday July 29 at anytime during the day. Please contact Wes when you arrive at (306) 221-0896 and he will direct you where to park. The cost is $60 for the weekend.

There are a few Bed and Breakfasts in the area. If you wish to book, please contact the owners directly.
