Up and coming in the Memphis jazz scene, the Jackson Hankins Quintet is all Memphis and authentically cool.  Its leader is Jackson Hankins, a saxophonist in the Central High School jazz band and a member of the jazz band which won the Essentially Ellington International High School Jazz Competition in 2025, with Jackson awarded Outstanding Soloist for alto sax.  He is a 3-time All-State musician and, along with his musician mates, will be headed off to college soon to make their names.  See them in The Cavern at The Brass Door ... before fame takes them away!
