About Kirk O' The Valley School
Kirk O' The Valley School, a not-for-profit elementary and preschool, has been serving families in the San Fernando Valley community for over 60 years. Starting in our play-based preschool program and continuing through fifth grade, our child-centered approach and low student to teacher ratios allow us to guide and nurture the whole child. Embodying the saying that "childhood is a journey, not a race," Kirk works closely with each student to determine where they are and help them find the best way they can learn. The school strives to create an environment that cultivates curious learners who feel empowered to explore the world around them. Kirk is often described as "a small town school environment where everyone knows your name," a special and rare characteristic that can be hard to find in a large suburban environment like Los Angeles.
