Dr. Leon and Sharon Kilpatrick Academic Scholarship


GENERAL INFORMATION: SCHOLARSHIP AND SPONSOR

This scholarship is named after Leon and Sharon Kilpatrick who were longtime educators at the
secondary and college levels for 46 years each. This scholarship is to recognize graduating high
school students who are family members. Applicants must have an aspiration to continue their
education or training at the college level, technical institution, or military service. Graduates
must be current participants of the Kilpatrick-Tate Family Reunion. This scholarship will be
awarded to one or two graduating high school students based on the criteria. The amount is
$250.00 per student. If only one person receives the award, the scholarship amount is $500.00.
The deadline to apply is Friday, May 30, 2025. The graduates must be high school seniors in
the 2024-2025 school year. The recipient (s) will be notified before the family reunion begins.
