Marc Curtis, Attorney
Defender of the Blue

Marc Curtis began his career with a strong commitment to serving others, first as a Military Police Officer in the U.S. Army, where he deployed to Iraq during the first Gulf War. Upon returning, he was stationed at Fort Stewart, serving as a K-9 handler until his honorable discharge in 1994.

Following his military service, Marc pursued higher education, earning degrees from Michigan State University and Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He began his legal career with the Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office, quickly advancing to Senior Assistant Prosecutor. There, he was assigned to the West Michigan Enforcement Team (WMET), a regional law enforcement task force focused on combating drug trafficking and organized crime. Working alongside local officers on complex, multi-agency cases, Marc gained invaluable experience in legal strategy and high-stakes prosecutions.
