Hand Embroidery 101
In this workshop, you will learn the basics of hand embroidery, so you can use it in your cosplays.
This workshop is designed to introduce you to 4-5 different stitches that can be used, different types of stabilizers, and how to transfer your designs. You’ll learn stitches that you can use to outline and fill out your design. You will have a chance to see the stitches up close, practice the stitches, and then start to create your banner.
The $20 class fee includes a supply kit with all the supplies needed.

Hand Sewing 101
In this workshop, you will learn basic hand-sewing stitches to create or modify your cosplays. This workshop is designed to introduce the 4 basic stitches (straight stitch, back stitch, blanket stitch, whip stitch).
You will learn basic construction methods and a few different styles of seams and finishing techniques. I will demonstrate how to do the stitches, and then you will be able to practice the stitches and create a corner bookmark. You will also leave with the supplies to apply your new skills to create your own drawstring bag!
The $20 class fee includes a supply kit with all the supplies needed.

About Lady Latham
Hello!
My name is Lady Latham I am a cosplayer local to Central Pennsylvania. I have been sewing and creating costumes for over 20 years. I have won several awards for my costumes but always strive to improve my skills and abilities.
I am in the process of creating different tutorials to assist new cosplayers to learn new skills and create their own costumes. With my experience, I hope to create inclusive and accessible tutorials for anyone interested in learning some of the basics of cosplay and sewing.
