About the Workshop
Please join the Colorado Tourism Office (CTO) and Lake City/Hinsdale County for a Tourism Stakeholder Workshop at the Moseley Arts Center on Oct 7, 9:30-3:00 pm (lunch provided). This will be a full-day destination development action planning workshop during which we will focus on winter tourism in Lake City/Hinsdale County. The goal of this workshop is to create a sustainable growth strategy for increasing winter tourism and building a year-round economy.
Having the Colorado Tourism Office orchestrate a workshop for Lake City/Hinsdale County is a tremendous opportunity for us. As part of the grant we received, CTO will also provide us with technical assistance to implement what we come up with at the workshop as well as $10,000 to support our marketing efforts. So let’s kick this project off strong!
Your participation is essential, please RSVP to join us. Bring your ideas for how we can grow winter tourism in Lake City/Hinsdale County. How can we attract more winter visitors? What does your business need help with to make winter viable? What can we offer the winter traveler?
We would also like to ask that you take 10 minutes to complete this survey to help us understand the current situation of tourism in our community and your priorities for our destination.
OEDIT COVID-19 Safety Requirements
The workshop must meet the minimum COVID-19 safety requirements for the location it is being hosted within. If the local COVID-19 safety requirements do not meet the minimum OEDIT safety requirements, then OEDIT will mandate that the following minimum safety requirements are followed for the meeting:
• Please stay home if you experience any symptoms of illness or exposure to COVID-19.
• Masks will be mandatory for all staff and participants in indoor settings, and conference areas will be set up with social distancing in mind.
• Being fully vaccinated is strongly encouraged but not required.
• Those not vaccinated are strongly encouraged to take a COVID-19 test 3 days before the workshop to avoid risk of exposure and the exposure of others.
