About the Workshop
As queer men living in a society that shames us for seeking and experiencing pleasure, it can be hard to fully embrace our bodies and desires. Leaning into Pleasure is a workshop that rejects that shame. It is designed to help us reclaim and deepen our somatic connection with ourselves and others. Through guided exercises and mindful practices, my aim is for you to deepen your appreciation of your body as an instrument of pleasure.
In a space of likeminded queer men, you will have the freedom to explore and expand your sensory awareness. We will discuss many ways to carry this enhanced capacity for pleasure-seeking in our day-to-day lives.

Workshop Details
Date: Saturday, July 13, 2024
Time: 10am-8pm
Location: Dawn Studios, 38 W 32nd St, Rm 1406
Cost: $60-$80 sliding scale. Or bring a friend: two for $100 ($50 each). Payment can be made in advance via PayPal ([email protected]) or Cash App ($nexusexplorations), or with cash on the day of the event.
Objective: Participants will deepen their somatic connection with themselves and others, embracing their bodies as instruments of pleasure both in giving and receiving touch.
Who is welcome: This is a body-positive workshop for folks of all shapes, colors, sizes, experience, and ages 21+. It centers cis and trans men seeking connection through touch, while embracing nonbinary siblings who connect with male-centered spaces. The space is wheelchair accessible. Meet the Facilitator
Nexus (aka Sean) is a sex and intimacy coach for queer men and a pleasure activist. His practice draws upon the teachings of Joseph Kramer and Betty Martin, aspects of tantra, mindfulness, breathwork, and a cultivation of one's own sense of curiosity and exploration. He has previously facilitated erotic massage and sensation exchange workshops both in New York City and at Easton Mountain in Upstate New York.
