Join other Victorian Primary and Secondary School students in keeping the ANZAC Spirit alive by commemorating ANZAC Day and the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who have served our country.
The patron of Melbourne Legacy will address the students and the ceremony will include Defence Force Cadets, Melbourne High School band, Mac.Robertson Girls' and Melbourne High School choirs and a RAAF fly-over.
Students are encouraged to honour relatives who served by wearing their medals on their righthand side.
Each school is invited to nominate two students per year level attending to lay a floral tribute on behalf of the school during the ceremony.
After this special Legacy Service teachers and their students are invited inside the Shrine of Remembrance to view the Shrine Crypt and Galleries of Remembrance. Volunteers and staff will be positioned throughout the Shrine to engage with and answer student's questions.
Limited bus parking will be available on Birdwood Avenue.
Please remind students to bring water bottles, hats, sunscreen and/or wet weather gear.
