WHAT:
Audition to be a part of Legacy Theater and Music Company's troupe to go to JTF- the biggest Junior Theater Celebration of the year!
Join us for this amazing experience to continue to build our Legacy Community and share the joy of LIVE Theater on a large scale!
This year we will be deciding our show based off of who auditions, so our show will be announced after each auditioner commits to our troupe.

AUDITION INFO:
Please prepare a 32 bar a capella audition that shows the range of your voice.

WHO CAN AUDITION:
Any student between the ages of 10 and 18 are welcome to audition.
We rarely make cuts for our troupe, and the only reason would be if there is too wide of an age gap for us to have a cohesive performance. If a cut is made your commitment fee will be refunded. 

WHAT DOES A GROUP DO AT JTF?
Groups perform a 10-15-minute selection from one MTI Broadway Junior®️ musical (includes JR. and KIDS titles) for adjudication, participate in workshops specifically designed for student performers, watch outstanding performances by their peers, and attend special JTF-curated programming and performances by theater professionals.

WHY JTF?
JTF gives everyone who attends the opportunity to experience the transformative power of musical theater through watching performances, attending workshops and making connections with other musical theater groups from around the world.

JTF Atlanta will be held in person January 16-120th, 2025
The Legacy Troupe will be arriving on January 16th for our rehearsal and check in. (All members of this troupe must be available to be at the festival the entire time)

WHAT IS THE REHEARSAL COMMITMENT:
After we cast our show, we will take each member's availability into consideration.
Rehearsals will be held bi-weekly on Saturdays beginning in September and will continue until we go to JTF! (specific dates and times are subject to change, as our director is expecting to give birth mid November)

HOW WILL OUR TROUPE GET TO JTF?
Typically through carpooling we drive about 5 hours to Atlanta.
Each person attending the festival is required to book their own transportation and accommodations. A list of hotels will be sent out with your confirmation email.

PRICING:
The cost for registration for the festival for each individual (student, parent, professional development, director, or chaperone) is $335
We require any troupe member who has not attended the festival before their parent or guardian attend.
We must register each individual person who plans to attend and enter the festival.
Lodging and food accommodations are not included in this fee, this fee is only for the Junior theater Festival

Legacy Theater requires that each person attending with our troupe pay $100 (student, parent, professional development, director, or chaperone). This doubles as a commitment fee, and pays for the multiple merchandise items that are required to be worn for our troupe.
The $100 fee is nonrefundable, and must be paid at the time of auditioning.


The JTF fee of $335 must be paid by September 14th 2024 to secure your festival tickets. If payment is not made by this date, you will have forfeited your spots in our troupe.
