Please join The Women's Bar Association of MD - Baltimore Carroll Chapter as we come together for an evening of fine cuisine, premium cocktails, and Broadway-caliber entertainment to support Samuel Ready Scholarships, a nonprofit organization that gives academically promising girls in grades 6-12, who have great financial need, access to a Baltimore-area independent school education with opportunities to develop and excel.

Samuel Ready Scholarships provides full tuition scholarship funding to specific supported schools, for the Scholars selected by the schools. These supported schools are: The Bryn Mawr School, Friends School of Baltimore, Garrison Forest School, Roland Park Country School and St. Paul’s School for Girls. During the 2023-2024 academic year, Samuel Ready Scholarships is funding 27 scholarships.

Now, in its 47th year, Samuel Ready Scholarships has been demonstrably successful. Samuel Ready Scholarships has provided more than $17M to fund scholarships for more than 300 girls. With an impressive college acceptance rate, alumnae have become physicians and attorneys, obtained advanced degrees and achieved career and life successes that would have been improbable without these scholarships.
