Our History
Life Point Church started in 1952 as Hessville Assembly of God. As we grew, we purchased property at our current location and begin to sow seeds of growth.
Our Present
As times changed, so did the ministry of Life Point Church. Through the leading of the Holy Spirit, the church has seen a variety of ministries. We have acquired a second location as a place of worship at Highland. We also have Ministry Groups for all ages, a Childcare and Elementary Christian School, outreaches, and proudly support missionaries worldwide.
Our Future
As anyone can attest, the future is unclear until it unfolds. God is still fulfilling the vision and mission of Life Point Church in bits and pieces, yet one thing remains, God is in control, and Life Point Church is His work for the city of Hammond, the town of Highland, and surrounding areas. As new ministries are developed and new families decide to make LPC their home church, LPC looks to live in the future in the same manner as it has continued from the very beginning.- live according to the leading and prompting of the Holy Spirit and trust in God’s provision.

The Celebration will take place at our Hammond Campus, promptly at 5pm.
What should I wear?
Smart Casual -formal attire would be appreciated, but not required.
Is this event free?
Yes, but a donation will be greatly appreciated. Visit aglpc.org to give.
Do I really need to RSVP, and is there a deadline?
Yes, deadline will be August 6, 2023. This will help us to provide adequate seating for everyone.
