What started as a lyric play by Rose Alley's Kevin Roper during their rendition of Sugaree (instead of singing "I'll meet you at the jubilee," he sang, "I'll meet you at the Lubilee") has turned into a mini autumnal music festival. Lubilee features Rose Alley (JGB), Dance County Candy Boys (formerly known as Dead Herd - good ol' Grateful Dead), and the first-ever reggae at the Lu, Dis-N-Dat Band.

This event includes the participation fee for the Lu Adult Olympics, where teams of two dress up like a country (real or imagined) and compete in ridiculously silly games for a chance at Gold, or in this case, two VIP tickets to Revel in the Meadow 2027 on Saturday, August 14, at the Dover Elks! We'll also award prizes for best costumes, second place, and third place.

We'll have plenty of songs, spirits, and food to keep you dancing all day long. All net proceeds benefit Continuum Arts Collective, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing Maine and New Hampshire student artists and musicians with the materials, instruction, and experiences they need to flourish as creators.
