LUPUS EUROPE 2022 Convention

We are proud to announce that the 33rd Annual Lupus Europe Convention will be held in Leuven from Friday evening, June 17th until Monday, June 20th.

Our Convention will be a hybrid event this year. We are excited to see friends who can join us in person, in Leuven, once again. Friends who may not be able to be with us in person, are more than welcome to join most of Convention sessions online.

In person participants will arrive on Friday June 17, for a wonderful ice breaking buffet dinner at the hotel. On Saturday, after a presentation of our Key topic (access) and how it connects to our strategic plan we will jump into "Open spaces", selecting together the key themes that we want to work on during the next 2 days, and going into small open discussion groups with a first round of sharing before lunch. The afternoon will be a combination of working group activities and Skills building based on EUPATI experience on HTA and access. In person participants will end the day with a dinner in the old city historic centre of Leuven.

For our members delegates, Sunday will start with the General meeting, election of new Board members et cetera. Mid morning, we will resume open space workshops and engaging activities. The day will close with the much awaited "talk to the doctor" session where you will be able to raise all your questions on new developments in lupus.

Monday will come the time for concluding on the various topics and projects that have been discussed in our workshops, and making the final recommendations that will help the Board build a wonderful 2023-2028 Strategic plan. For in person participants we will finish the Convention with a buffet lunch so that everyone can leave on time for flights back home.
