Pastors, ministry, and organizational leaders, along with entrepreneurs are invited to attend. Our Mission
We believe December 12th-14th will be a pivotal weekend for Organizational and Ministry leaders, empowering them to reignite the hope of the world. Conference Hosts
Prior to accepting the pastoral call, Bishop Clark and Prophetess Diane served diligently at Watson Temple Church of God in Christ (Tallahassee, FL) under the Godly leadership of the late Bishop E.L. Sheppard. It was during this time that they established a true foundation of holiness and subsequently accepted the “Call to Ministry” which was evident upon both their lives. With over eleven (11) years of service at Watson Temple COGIC, Bishop Sheppard released the Lazares to transition to the newly incorporated Life Changers Church of God In Christ (Tallahassee, FL). During the tenure at Life Changers COGIC, Pastors Clark and Diane received their national certifications for ministry. It was evident that God’s hand was upon them as they continually operated in ministry leadership with such grace and poise. After four years of dedicated service at Life Changers Church, they were directed by God to relocate to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to begin the process of pastoral training. This was a huge step of faith for the Lazares to leave behind: a newly built house, established careers, and the place they had called home for 15 years.
Upon arriving in South Florida, Pastors Clark and Diane submitted their ministry under the leadership of Bishop Henry Fernandez (The Faith Center) for pastoral training. After 1 ½ years of pastoral training, the Lazares were directed to begin weekly Bible Studies. The Bible Studies were held in the Lakes of Newport Clubhouse for approximately four months. During much of this time, Pastors Clark and Diane would preach and teach to each other, along with their 2 young children because there were no other members as of yet. Without any ministry guidance or financial support, the Lazares began the journey of pastoring the newly incorporated Light of Life Worship Center, Inc., with a membership of five (5) in February 2002. In 2014, the ministry decided to change the name to The Light Center, to better reflect the overall vision.
