The festivities start with a FREE Open Skating session from 1 PM to 3 PM at the Richland Ranger Hockey Dome. Families can enjoy a fun afternoon on the ice, perfect for all ages. Later, join Santa for a FREE Movie at the Centre Theatre from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, featuring the beloved holiday classic, "The Polar Express." As the sun sets, the grand finale of the day is the Parade of Lights that will light up Central Avenue at 6:30 PM. Parade lineup begins at 5:30 PM at the South Shopko Parking Lot, inviting families to gather and enjoy the festive display of lights and community spirit. The Cutting Edge Dance Studio will once again have the Sunrise City Rockettes performing their entertaining Christmas routine during the parade.

Downtown Sidney | November 30th
On November 30th, head to the Shop Small Saturday Showcase from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Yellowstone Mercantile Co. Limited booths for the Shop Small Saturday Showcase are available! Give the Chamber of Commerce a call to book your spot! This event encourages residents to support local businesses while children may also participate in a Lego contest sponsored by the Boys and Girls Club allowing attendees to vote for their favorite design. There are 6 categories with a $100 cash prize for each category. No pre-packaged themed Lego kits can be used, and all designs must begin with a base provided. Stop by the Boys and Girls Club to enter. All entries are due Friday, November 22nd. The afternoon and evening prove to be lively with a new event, the Christmas Crawl. Local establishments have been invited to participate and create a unique Christmas themed drink specifically created for our event. Participants who attend can visit local to sample festive Christmas cocktails and vote for their favorites. The open container ordinance will be waived between the South 40 and Mimi's Kitchen Co, making it easy to enjoy the festive drinks. The Christmas Crawl is specifically open 12pm - 8pm.

Giving Tuesday is an opportunity for people around the world to use their individual power of generosity to support their communities.
Sidney's Christmas Stroll includes a "Progressive Dinner" highlighting some of our region's most valuable nonprofits and community resources.
The Giving Tuesday Progressive Dinner features a 5 course meal including cocktail hour, salad, hors d'oeuvres, dinner and dessert. Attendees will travel through downtown restaurants and experience each course with a touch of holiday entertainment including musical and dance performances. Each restaurant is hosted by a participating nonprofit group who will have the opportunity to share it's impact with the attendees and offer options for supporting their cause.
Attendees are responsible for transportation between courses. Dinner tickets include entertainment and drink tickets.
Two rounds of the Progressive Dinner will be offered. Please select tickets based on the start time of either 5pm or 6pm.
Participating nonprofits include: The Sidney Public Schools Angel Fund - supporting delinquent lunch accounts and activity cards, Foundation for Community Care, Sunrise Women's Clinic, Boys and Girls Club of the MonDak, and the Kiwanis Coat Drive Fund.

The Polar Plunge® is a Law Enforcment Torch Run signature event. It is primarily organized, promoted and conducted by LETR Officers and volunteer teams.
Sidney's Richland Opportunities Inc. (ROI) will be hosting a free-will dinner at the Sidney Elks Lodge and ice bags are available for purchase. All proceeds benefit ROI and Montana Special Olympics.

A catered dinner will be served by local youth with proceeds benefiting the Sidney Chamber of Commerce and contributing nonprofits.
General Admission includes a catered dinner. Seating is not reserved. Doors open at 5:00pm.
