A beginners workshop in wax ring carving, run by trained silversmith Charlotte Latimer from Latimer Designs.
During this two hour workshop you will create your own ring from jewellers wax. You will be shown various techniques on how to create unique textures using different tools.
After the session your ring will be taken away and cast in solid silver, polished and finished by Charlotte and then posted back to you.

Price per person is £85 - this includes finished silver ring.

The width of the band is 4mm, if you would like a thicker band of 8mm there is an additional charge of £30. Gold plating is also available for £20.

Places are limited to ten people.

The workshop will be held at House of Vans in Waterloo, in Tunnel 1 - It's the tunnel you immediately see when you walk into the venue, and it is next to the photo booth. London Makers Market will be hosting a free event on the same day, showcasing 28 independent makers and small businesses in the amazing tunnel spaces. Alongside the market and workshop, there is a café on site, exhibition space, and two skate parks to enjoy (pre booking required). Feel free to arrive a little early so that you can browse the market and other activities.

It will be a very chilled environment and a chance for you to create something unique for yourself or to give to someone else.

Look forward to seeing you there.
