About Modern-Day Debate (MDD)
Modern-Day Debate founder, James, is a doctoral student in psychology. During his academic journey James discovered that many in society are closed to controversial people or topics and often actually attempt to exclude anything that questions the status quo. Our goal is to provide a non-partisan and truly tolerant debate platform that welcomes everyone.
In addition to hosting fair debates and dialogues, we believe people across all groups unite in wanting to make the world just a bit better. Thus, in addition to live streamed debates, MDD also hosts charity streams where 100% of donations go to a charity (e.g., Save the Children) evaluated by the charity watchdog organization Charity Navigator.

*To maintain a safe environment for guests and speakers, Modern-Day Debate reserves the right to deny entrance, or expel from the property, any person demonstrating disorderly, intimidating, or otherwise disrupitive or suspicious behavior.

*Refunds: If you have an emergency (e.g., a family members is in critical condition), we will cover the refund fee ($21) in full. But if your cancellation is not for an emergency, we ask that you cover the cancellation fee.
