This hands-on course will cover the fundamentals of Void Filled Riprap design, material types, and best practices for mixing and placement using a scaled-down version of the material.

The goal of the Construction Management Academy is to provide introductory educational opportunities for industry professionals to learn about materials and construction techniques that are unique to waterway work.

We will offer this training both Thursday (May 14) and Friday (May 15), choose which day you'd like to attend when buying your ticket.

Cost: This fee supports instructor stipends, meals, contractor mobilization, training materials, and continuing education credits (where applicable, e.g., CEs for PEs, CFMs).
  • $100 – Local government attendees
  • $200 – All other participants
