Make It Make Sense
By AhDream Smith

October 08th-10th (IN-PERSON)
October 11th-15th (ONLINE)
All Tickets Complementary - Family Friendly
Created by artist AhDream Smith and commissioned by Arts Everywhere, Orange County Arts Commission, and the North Carolina Arts Council, Make It Make Sense is an immersive experience that transforms the performance studio of the Media Art Space into an intimate art-house theater.

Inspired by personal experiences surrounding love & loss during the Covid-19 pandemic, Make It Make Sense, invites visitors to reflect on their own personal experiences while watching a taped performance piece. During the piece, visitors will have an opportunity to stimulate their taste and touch senses with complimentary items provided and write a note to someone they haven't been able to connect with over the last 19 months.

Throughout this time of uncertainty and unrest, human beings on a global level have struggled with the ability to remain present, without lamenting the past and being anxious about the future. The goal of this experience is to curate a communal space to pause, reflect and let go so that we can begin the healing process and move forward.
