Mix and Mingle features the picturesque ambiance of Glen Oak Country Club, open bar, light dinner fare, gift basket raffle, and jazz music by the Mark Montella Trio. The funds raised by this signature event directly support community programming initiatives that have a meaningful, and often lifesaving, impact on older adults across Northeastern Pennsylvania.
 
The mission of Meals on Wheels of NEPA is to provide nourishment and holistic support to older adults and individuals with disabilities across the region, coordinating with local agencies to promote connection, advocacy, and independent living.

Award Recipients
During Mix and Mingle, we will honor Moses Taylor Foundation as recipient of our Annual Founder’s Award for Philanthropy. Moses Taylor Foundation is an example of an organization truly committed to the communities it serves. Under the leadership of Danielle Breslin, President and CEO, and her dedicated team, their unwavering support helps countless individuals, agencies, and organizations throughout our area. We will also honor the dedication of Mr. Gary Drapek, President and CEO of the United Way of Lackawanna, Wayne, and Pike Counties. Mr. Drapek has spent 38 years working tirelessly to serve our community, an example of a true servant leader and collaborative partner. He is the recipient of the Annual Elaine F. Shepard Award for Exceptional Volunteerism.
