(Currency Audio x Jason Lindner)
J. ALBERT (Live)
AANANDI (DJ)
[12.5.2025] @ 7p
Audio experimentalists Moment Machine (synthesist/producer Jason Lindner x eDrummer Currency Audio) curate an evening of improvisational immersive sound journies featuring performances by themselves, J. Albert and DJ sets by Aanandi. Expect a wide range of sonic, emotional and bass heavy textures that only the legendary LSD 4 point sound system can properly convey.

Moment Machine is a live electronic post-jungle, future “drum & space” duo of Currency Audio and Jason Lindner who together conjoin two unique worlds into an expansive sonic and rhythmic ecosystem, using improvisation, action and reaction in an engaged and spontaneous flow of live electronic beats with evolving soundscapes, harmonic rhythm and core-shaking bass. It’s a shape-shifting experience of the duo effectively deejaying their own craft in real-time.

J. Albert crafts deeply dubby and minimal soundscapes that have defined his standout releases, including “I Want to Be Good So Bad,” which received Pitchforks Best Electronic of 2024 “Return to Sender,” which was Best of February RA and his latest work, “Find the Sum of Nothing.” which is making splashes. Celebrating more than a decade of productions, J. Albert is a seasoned Brooklyn producer who always pushes the boundaries of genre and form to create signature scapes and dubby minimal hypnotics.

DJ/producer and New Yorker Aanandi earned her first residency at National Underground before co-founding label and collective divingstation.fm, curating events across Manhattan and Brooklyn. In 2014, she launched the DIY warehouse party La Lune, combining art installations, live performances, and standout DJ sets featuring artists like Anthony Shakir and Brendon Moeller. She now co-runs the experimental Morphism NYC parties disrupting convention and warping the familiar by emphasizing texture driven composition, rejecting the flatlining of the stagnation homogeneity in music culture while staying true to their roots that span across genres.
Aanandi’s approach to DJing is to harmonize space, moment, and mood—balancing light and dark elements to ignite the floor and invoke emotion without being bound to a single genre.

Currency Audio: a real-time, improvisational, and generative breakbeat project solely powered by Ableton Live and electronic drum triggers, producer and percussionist Rajeev Maddela strives to bring a refreshingly human approach to electronic music performance and composition. Signed to dBridge’s Exit Records UK, his recent ‘Humanism’ EP was released to critical acclaim, with track Modus Choperandi featured in Resident Advisor's Top Singles of 2021 and Bandcamp’s ‘Best Electronic Music’ August Roundup. Fully improvised without a click or backing tracks, the EP aims to highlight the expressive qualities of natural time and increased dynamics, as well as a deep obsession with late 90's breakbeat

Jason Lindner aka flymyspcshp, is a contemporary keyboardist, electronic musician, composer and producer from Brooklyn, NY, widely known for his innovative post-jazz / live IDM project Now Vs Now, and for his work on David Bowie’s final Grammy-winning album ‘★’ (blak-stär). Jason frequently performs and collaborates within NYC’s underground experimental arts circles as an explorer of the cross-sections of live electronic music and spontaneous improvisation for immersive sonic journeys in concert, club and wellness environments.
