The Metropolis of Boston Philoptochos invites you to a special luncheon featuring Dorrie Papademetriou, Founder and Director of MudGirls Studios. Based in Atlantic City, New Jersey, MudGirls Studios transforms the lives of women facing adversity by providing training, employment, and a pathway out of poverty. Join us to hear the inspiring story of how the art of creating pottery has helped restore hope and opportunity in the lives of hundreds of women.

The luncheon will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at St. Catherine’s Greek Orthodox Church, 119 Common Street, Braintree, MA 02184. Guests are invited to a 12:00 noon reception, followed by a 1:00 PM luncheon catered by Ithaki and program. Tickets are $80 per person, with proceeds benefiting the ministries of the Metropolis of Boston Philoptochos. Please RSVP by October 17.

Event sponsorship opportunities are also available for those who wish to further support the philanthropic ministries of the Metropolis of Boston Philoptochos.

Sponsorship levels include Philanthropia — $2,500 and above; Kalosini — $1,000; Elpida — $500; Philotimo — $250; and Philia — $150 and under. Sponsors will receive recognition in the event program while helping support the important work and ministries of the Metropolis Philoptochos.
