The Musers are Anita Bear Sandwina on banjolin, fiddle, mandolin and guitar, Megan McLaughlin on guitar and mandolin, Tom Kuhn on upright bass, and Leslie Jackson on Cajon and body percussion. Anita and Megan met behind a microphone singing backing ups, and from the first shared notes, they knew they had found the sister-like blend powering The Muser’s soaring harmonies. Both are award - winning songwriters, winning West Coast Songwriting competitions whenever they show up. Leslie Jackson plays Cajon, adding dance and body percussion to the mix. With Tom’s voice and funky bass grooves, The Musers are spreading joy wherever they go with their foot - stomping, positive, high energy performances of original bluegrass, swing, blues, Appalachian, Irish, and sassy cover tunes (Brick House, I Want You Back, Blister in the Sun).

The Musers have played the following Northern Ca venues: Redwood Ramble, Live at Juilliard Park, Bodega Seafood Festival, Gravenstein Apple Fair, Peacetown, Rivertown Revival, Occidental Center for The Arts, Hopmonk Sebastopol, Monkey House, and dozens of house concerts and wineries. We have toured the Pacific Northwest in 2019, 2021, and 2022. This year also saw the release of our three videos, Turn It On, The Bees Keep Me and How You Being?
