Featuring:

DESCENDANCE - A film about Dennis Renalter. / Renowned freeride skier D-RAN embarks on a  journey of self-exploration to examine his relationship with his own skin color,  from his home valley in Austria to Accra, the capital of Ghana.

THE BLACKCOUNTRY JOURNAL - A film by Mallory Duncan. / As a skier hurries through the streets of LA, his path takes a turn after bumping into a jazz musician who helps him discover the correlation between jazz and skiing—an expression of art, skiing, and black culture.

NARPSKI - A film by Caroline Weaver & Kayla Caldeira. / Two amateurs attempt to learn snow sports while finding community with fellow people of color.

Tickets will be available on a sliding scale from $0-20 (no judgement!). Funds from the tickets will go back to Narpski as the film was mostly self-funded with the help of generous donations of time, energy, and gear. Any amount is much appreciated! Please make sure to register all members of your party so we have an accurate head count for the venue. You can also get tickets at the door.

There will be limited seats and standing space. Seats will be on a first, come first serve basis.

Guests will receive a free raffle ticket and a free drink ticket to redeem one beer at the bar. Additional drinks and food will be available for purchase from the Polaris Hall bar. 

This event features films that are about and created by BIPOC. Snow sports are often a homogenous space and most snow sport films reflect that. We hope these films inspire new perspectives and highlight a message: people of color belong on the slopes.
