About:The
National Workshop that will be held in
Greece and aims to: promote the sharing of knowledge about the growing phenomenon of
"New Working Spaces" (NeWSp) such as
co-working, makerspaces, fablabs, hackerspaces, Living Labs, business workshops, other collaborative and creative workplaces, libraries offering co-working and makerspaces, and office sharing services, and understand the differences and similarities between city and country, as well as the impact on Greece's urban and regional development.
The workshop also seeks to promote collaboration between national academics and other Greek actors who are interested in this topic. Both academic participants and stakeholders at the national, regional, and local levels play a crucial role as experts and informants on the development of NeWSp in metropolitan areas, medium-sized small towns, and rural areas in Greece.
The event is organised by the COST Action CA18214 "The geography of New Working Spaces and the impact on the periphery" (2019-2024) members in Greece, Professor Roido Mitoula and PhD Candidate Angelos Papavasileiou.
The workshop will take place both
physically and
on-line.
