Navratri
Where the modern world has all of its 'Lifehacks' for cleansing and restoring, Taditional Ancient India has the Navratri Restorative Cleanse, 3000 year old knowledge which encompasses practically every 'LifeHack' popular now!

Navratri literally means ‘The Nine Nights’ and typically refers to a period of nine days at the vernal and autumnal equinox. Traditionally, it is these nine days that are by far the most optimal time to cleanse and rejuvenate oneself.

Navratri is also known as Devi Puja (Goddess Worship) - the nine nights of the great Goddess Durga as she battles the greatest demons, or forces of imbalance, a legend redolent with meaning for us all.

Navratri is typically practiced by hundreds of millions of people every year, although very very few practice the Ayurveda and Yoga facets, which are profound and very rewarding practices that create a basis of true abiding wellness and longevity.

For nine nights we will be Being in a way that clears congestion, open channels, cleanses the colon, liver and blood, quells inflammation, boosts metabolism, lightens the body, clears psychological programs, refines awareness, elevates consciousness and nourishes the heart.

You'll see the incredible depth that is possible when the ‘cleanse’ facet is just one part of a much larger overall restorative protocol.

Once you have this empowerment you will be able to accomplish such a restorative cleanse every equinox and thus go deeper twice a year with specific approaches according to what is needed.

Location

A practically mythic retreat center owned by precious brother Piyush Kumar. Prashanti has been here at least 20 times over the years. It is rustic and yet high quality and comfortable. It is in the middle of a whole orb of sacred sites. Dunagiri lies:

~ 3 km from Dunagiri Temple, a major potent esoteric Goddess Temple, Dunagiri Maa Mandir.

~ 2 km below Sukha Devi Temple, a location which has been worshiped at not for 3 centuries, not for 3 millennia, but for 3 Yugas! Created by SukhDev, Ved Vyas’s son!

~ 5 km from the legendary Avatar Babaji's cave, which you can actually see from Dunagiri Retreat Center

~ 7 km from Mansa Devi Temple - a very ancient potent 'wishfulfilling' Goddess Temple

~ 5 km from Pandukol hill, the mountain on top of which Arjuna and the Pandava brothers hid out in their last year of their exile.

~ 17 km from the town of Dwarahat, the mountain version of Dwarka, the Mountain kingdom of Krishna, where there is a gorgeous, ancient Shiva temple.

We will likely go to all of the above places. If you are concerned about the difficulty of the walks, reach out and we can give you a detailed description of the distance and elevation. The longest walk will likely be four hours, the shortest - twenty minutes. Typically the last stretch up to a temple is a bit steep, but the paths are well trodden and usually by very old people too.

September 21, 2025, 10:00 AM - October 3, 2025 - 11:00 AM
This retreat was such rocket fuel for my career [Yoga and Ayurveda] and it makes all the sense in the world. Physically I feel so good, I am more aware and able to transform those aches and pains into something to be grateful for. Going forward I know it’s about letting everything I’ve learnt here evolve naturally - whether it's the diet or the practices, the supplements, herbs - just letting all of this flow.

This really brought me to a level of myself thats been so difficult for me to access, so to go back there and having that memory wash my body and clean my heart was amazing. This past 10 days has been a process of forgetting whatever I thought was happening and just let this innocence to reemerge and it really feels like a gateway has opened and I'm so stoked to just blast through it.
