The Innocence Inquiry Commission Model: Transforming Post-Conviction Innocence Claim Review

The NC Innocence Inquiry Commission is a state agency charged with providing an independent and balanced truth-seeking forum for credible post-conviction claims of innocence in North Carolina. This program will review lessons the Commission has learned over the last 15 years of operation in addition to how the Commission plays into the criminal justice  landscape of North Carolina.

The program will be offered in person and virtually. We anticipate this program will be available on demand after the event as well.
