Neo-Sowl: Third Coast Communion
Neo-Sowl: Third Coast Communion is a sacred sonic gathering — a meditation in motion, merging neo-soul frequencies, live instrumentation, and spoken word into a collective sound healing rooted in Third Coast traditions.
This third installment of the Neo-Sowl series is a special collaboration with Media 2070 and The Pecan Project, reimagining neo-soul through Houston’s historically and predominantly Black soundscapes — from Third Ward, Acres Homes, Sunnyside, and 5th Ward, to the rural heartbeats of East and Central Texas.
Experience the pulse of gospel chords, zydeco swing, trail-ride basslines, SLAB candy-paint hues, and the everyday poetry of porch talk and Sunday plates — all woven into an immersive, multi-sensory celebration of soul, lineage, and liberation.
Come ground, groove, and gather in communion with the frequencies of the Third Coast.
