An epic night market is coming to Brooklyn. You get the MIKA + Upstairs night market experience, New York’s popular Japanese restaurants will get together at a Brooklyn chic dining establishment. We’re turning all 8,700 square feet of Mika in Brooklyn into a night-market featuring:

  • Mouthwatering popular traditional Japanese street food menu (Ramen, Takoyaki, Yakitori (Skewers), Yakisoba, Kobe beef sushi, Yakiniku (BBQ) over rice, Matcha tiramisu, Sake ice cream, Super Omakase strawberry, Special sake flight tasting and more! ) by each restaurants/brands with Brooklyn chic dining execution, price range $10-$15

NARUTO RAMEN
Naruto Ramen serves traditional Japanese style ramen, there was a huge demand then they opened the second location in Brooklyn. The base of the soup is Shoyu ramen with a pork and chicken stock. Naruto Ramen uses original, handmade noodles in all of its dishes.
YAKINIKU WEST
Yakiniku West is an authentic Japanese Style BBQ restaurant. Established in 1997 by West, which was founded 55 years ago in Fukuoka Japan. Yakiniku West offers reliable taste and service for decades.
NORIKOH
Norikoh is a sleek Japanese restaurant. Norikoh blends the modern with the traditional, reflected both in its menu rooted in Japanese Kaiseki cuisine in addition to its fun cocktails.
Oishsii Strawberry

Kankitsu Labo Japan
New face. Made from citruses harvested in Ehime Prefecture, Japan. Rinds of KANKITSU are delicately peeled, and candied using traditional methods to enjoy the harmony of sweet and tart. The peels are well-coated with beet sugar and dried completely—in results, the candied peels are not sticky and the sugar does not fall off.

Just opened in October 2022 in Williamsburg. Nippon Cha’s mission is to deliver authentic, ceremonial grade matcha and traditional Japanese teas to the world and believe that quality should never be compromised. Nippon Cha has outlined strict criteria and definitions for ceremonial, both thick and thin grade matcha, and Nippon Cha teas.

KABUKI Art is coming to Brooklyn
Artist : KAZUKI ONOHARA 
Kabuki is a classical form of Japanese dance drama. Kabuki theatre is known for its heavily-stylised performances, the often glamorous costumes worn by performers, and for the elaborate kumadori make-up worn by some of its performers.

Kazuki Onohara worked as a Kabuki stage background painter for 12 years.

While in high school, he became interested in mural painting and started his career as a freelance wall and signboard artist. After graduating from the Image Creation Department of Asagaya College of Art and Design, he attended calligraphy and painting classes while working at a TV video production company, photo lab, and construction company in order to experience the wider world of creators. In his seventh year of working life, he was introduced to Kabuki props and worked as a background painter for 12 years. He became an instructor for a preservation group of
the Agency for Cultural Affairs' selected preservation techniques, and aspired to become an independent artist. In July 2022, he joined Matsuyama Studio as an assistant.

WESAKE makes sake in Kobe Japan and they make sake in canned so that you can enjoy sake easily anywhere. Rice is then transported to Kobe Japan, a famous sake-brewing hub given it’s ideal climate and its pristine water sources.     Yes, while supplies last.

  • Is the event open to the public?
    Yes!

  • Can I go without a ticket?
    Yes, but we recommend you get tickets for 3 reasons
(1) We will limit entry once near capacity, online ticket holders are guaranteed admittance,
(2) If we have a long line for foods, we will make a VIP line for ticket holders. Sponsored drinks available ONLY for ticket holders. Sampling may have VIP line, for ticket holders.
(3) Helps us with demand planning and making the experience even better for everyone

  • How does check-in work?
    We’ll scan in your QR code at MIKA, and give you a one drink and food vouchers.
     
  • Can I come late than my ticket time?
    If you're late for your ticket time, entry will be permitted if space allows.

  • What if I cannot make it?
    Please refer to the refund policy below.

  • What if I lose food & drink voucher?
    Do not lose your food & drink voucher. We’re unable to replace these if you lose them. Use it or lose it ;)

  • 4pm-7pm has more variety of free drink selection?
    We will prepare the same amount of free drinks 4-7pm and 7-10pm.

  • Why #kitsune (fox)?
There is "Kitsune (fox) festival" in Japan to pray for business prosperity and welfare of the household. An Inari shrine (Inari jinja) is a type of Japanese shrine used to worship the kami Inari. Inari is a popular deity associated with foxes, rice, household wellbeing, business prosperity, and general prosperity. Inari shrines typically possess guardian figures in the form of foxes or kitsune.

REFUND POLICY
The event fee is non-refundable. You can, on the other hand, transfer a ticket to a friend.

If an event is postponed, rescheduled, or moved, your tickets are still valid for the new date and no further action is required. Emails will be sent to ticket holders notifying them of any available refund options for the event.

Attendees must be 21 years of age or older.

Guests who test positive to COVID-19 will be unable to enter the venue. These guests are encouraged to contact [email protected] to book a future event.



TICKETING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
In order for the purchaser and/or holder (hereinafter referred to as you “You” or “Your”) of a valid wristband or ticket (“Ticket”) to enter Night Market (the “Event”), You must possess a valid Ticket that permits access.
ARTICLE 1: YOUR TICKET
  1. PLEASE BE ADVISED that the purchase and/or use of a Ticket to, and/or entry to the Event shall constitute Your unconditional acceptance to be bound by any and all of the terms and conditions contained within this agreement (this “Agreement”) between You and Night Market to attend all or part of the Event.
  2. For safety reasons, the Night Market reserves the right to, without any prior notice or compensation to You: postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop the Event; provisionally keep visitors on the Event site at the end of the Event; totally or partially vacate the Event site; and deny access to the Event site regardless of the possession of a valid entry ticket.
  3. Subject to the limitations of this Agreement, the Night Market reserves the right to change, modify, or alter any aspect of the Event (including, without limitation, the appearance of any performer, and/or the order of performance of any performer), at any time, for any reason whatsoever, without any prior notice or compensation to You. You understand that the artists and/or lineup for the Event may be changed and that such occurrence shall not, under any circumstances, entitle You to any claim whatsoever, including, but not limited to, a refund for Your Ticket.
  4.  You understand, acknowledge, and agree that the names of any performer contained in any Event promotional material is intended for informational purposes only, and does not, in any way, represent the importance or headline status of any single artist, act or performer, and is subject to change without prior notice.
  5. EXCEPT AS EXPLICITLY OTHERWISE PROVIDED HEREIN, YOU UNCONDITIONALLY UNDERSTAND THAT ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL, THERE WILL BE NO TICKET REFUNDS AND/OR TICKET EXCHANGES.  THE EVENT IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT.
  6. If the Event is cancelled in whole, or in part, due to a Force Majeure Event (as defined below), You will not be entitled to a refund. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Night Market may issue, at the Night Market sole and absolute discretion, a partial or full refund of Your Ticket, by accounting for, among other considerations, the extent and nature of the cancellation.   A “Force Majeure Event” shall mean an act of God, act of terrorism, flood, tsunami, strike or other labor condition or dispute, an order or injunction of any court or administrative body or any other act of public authority, severe weather threatening the safety of Event attendees or similar contingency or unexpected event, plague, epidemic, pandemic, outbreaks of infectious disease or any other public health crisis, including quarantine or other restrictions, and any such occurrence beyond the reasonable control of Night Market. You understand that in all instances, the maximum remedy You may receive for any cancellation of any part of the Event, if any, will be the face value of Your Ticket, excluding all fees and/or service charges paid by You in connection with the purchase of Your Ticket.
  7. By entering the Event, You assume any and all risk and/or danger, known and unknown, foreseeable and unforeseeable, resulting from, or incidental to, the Event, whether occurring prior to, during, or subsequent to, the Event, including, but not limited to, any death, personal injury or loss, damage or liability whatsoever.  You understand that Your use of Your Ticket is contingent upon Your voluntary assumption of the risk and danger that may result from, or be incidental to, Your presence at the Event, whether occurring prior to, during or after the Event, including, but not limited to, any actions or omissions of the er Night Market.
  8. You acknowledge and understand that the Ticket is a revocable license to attend the Event for which it was issued, which is subject to revocation and denial of admission without compensation for any reason, including, but not limited to, Your attempted or actual violation of any of the rules set forth herein, policy or regulations and for any other action taken by You in violation of any local, state or federal law, or that may endanger other ticketholders.
  9. Only purchase show tickets from the official Night Market website. If you purchase from another source, you risk purchasing a counterfeit or invalid ticket. Night Market is not responsible for tickets purchased from unofficial sources.
  10. While Beekman Hotel is taking measures to enhance the safety of their visitors, performers, and employees, an inherent risk of exposure to and infection with COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present, and a visit to the Beekman Hotel may still pose a risk to your safety. By visiting Beekman Hotel, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure of COVID-19.
  11. The Venue is not responsible for loss of or damage to any property.
