Norfolk Land Trust 2022 Benefit
Join us on May 21 for drinks, dinner and dancing!
Please join us for a benefit to help raise funds toward the purchase and preservation of the 235-acre Kopp property!

The Kopp property, located in South Norfolk, directly adjoins the Norfolk Land Trust’s (“NLT”) Hall Meadow Brook and East Branch Headwaters preserves. Its preservation will increase the size, diversity and quality of a protected forest block of more than 9,000 acres which includes the Great Mountain Forest and Dennis Hill State Park.

The property is ideal for passive recreational uses such as hiking, cross-country skiing, bird watching, fishing and photography. Trails already exist on the property and the NLT intends to add a kiosk with trail maps and other pertinent information. The property has a small, rustic cabin on one of the ponds that the NLT hopes to convert into a bird observation blind for public use. There will be two trail spurs to the pond, one to the bird blind and one to a fishing spot.

Aside from the abundance of wildlife and nature, the preservation of this property will support clean water, clean air and carbon sequestration for Norfolk and our entire region.
