The Red Dress Gala is our largest philanthropic event of the year and is very close to our hearts. All Alpha Phi chapters host an annual Red Dress Gala where we wear red and fundraise for the Alpha Phi Foundation. By supporting the foundation, we work not only to fight heart disease and gender bias in research but to support all sisters by funding scholarships that can support them during their collegiate careers and beyond graduation.
This past year, in celebration of our 150th anniversary, the Alpha Phi Foundation raised 42 million dollars; our chapter raised over $12,000 during our Red Dress Gala in the spring.
Please join us for this year's Red Dress Gala, presented by Northwestern's Alpha Phi Beta Chapter.

OUR PHILANTHROPY
The Alpha Phi Foundation is an organization focused on funding research and education for Women's Heart Health. This cause is personally important to Alpha Phi alongside the greater community of women in the US as heart disease is the number one cause of death among women. Most heart health research is focused on cisgender men, so we aim our efforts towards closing this gap to provide women worldwide with improved health outcomes.
HEART HEALTH WEEK
April 29th, 2024 - May 3rd, 2024
Heart Health Week occurs every year in the week that leads up to the Red Dress Gala. Each day of this week we lead events that promote heart health. During last year's Heart Health Week, chapter members participated in a Cycle Bar class taught by Lily Forbes (MC '21), a dance class taught by Anna Miller (MC '23), and a profit share at the Protein Bar located in Northwestern's Henry Crowne Sports Pavilion.
This year we will be participating in similar events to promote heart health throughout the Panhellenic and greater Northwestern community.
