Rain or Shine! Please join us for a day of fun! The Oakland Forest Community Bazaar is a neighborhood event where you can enjoy free entertainment, indulge in refreshing ice cream, peruse goods for sale, and have a chance to win exciting prizes through raffles to raise money for Doberman Rescue League, a local rescue. We will be collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items for Youth for Christ (YFC). YFC works together with other like-minded partners to help young people make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life, and positively impact the world around them. YFC is committed to empowering the children, youth, and families of our community by providing faith-based services that enhance their emotional, spiritual, physical, and educational well-being through our educational and outreach programs. Our second charity, "Doberman Rescue League" (DRL) is a Volunteer only rescue comprised of very special people who are willing to give their time, expertise, homes and loving care to help place Dobermans in need of rescue and LOVE. Their main goals are to rescue, protect and educate. The money raised by the raffles is for DRL. Check out their website; there is much to learn about them and their passion: www.doberescue.net

How do I get there?
From the South: Take 95 north exit at Oakland Park Boulevard west. Proceed west one mile to NW 27th turn right (Valero on corner). 27th becomes Oakland Forest Drive. Make first left onto S. Oakland Forest Drive and follow road till you see tennis courts on the left.
From the North: Take 95 south and exit at Commercial Boulevard west. Proceed west to NW 31st Street turn left. Stay on 31st Street till you come to NW 35th (you'll see sign for Pines West) turn left. At stop sign turn right and follow road till you see tennis courts on the right.
What should I bring?
Be sure to bring sunscreen and hat to protect yourself from the sun. As this is a yard sale type of event, you’ll want to bring cash as we don’t have the ability to use credit cards. Be sure to check out the raffle table for the great raffle prizes you can purchase tickets to try and win.
