Join us for a lecture and discussion with Drew Lords, Senior Architect at Office of: Office and Adjunct Professor at CalPoly Pomona, presented in collaboration with INSITE, AIA San Diego's Regional Design Advocacy Council (RDAC) and the Transborder Association of Architectural Education (TAAE). Office of: Office is a minority and women-led architecture, urban planning, and policy non-profit organization in Los Angeles that focuses on resident-directed development and neighborhood revitalization. Drew will be sharing with us recent projects, including their work helping communities replan and rebuild after the Eaton and Palisades Fires, as well as the Office of: Office process and approach to working with communities and a variety of stakeholders.
The lecture will begin promptly at 5:30pm, so please travel accordingly!

Senior Architect at Office of: Office
Drew is a registered architect, educator, and Los Angeles native. He is an Adjunct Professor at Cal Poly Pomona where he teaches design studios. Drew’s professional work includes significant experience with adaptive reuse of historic and other existing buildings, while his educational concentration is in urban design and housing strategies. His current academic research centers around architectures of alternative housing tenure arrangements, a topic he explored as the ’21 recipient of the Cavin Family Traveling Fellowship.
Drew holds a bachelors in Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona and a master’s in Housing and Urbanism from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London.
