Welcome fellow classmates! It's been 50 years since we all stood at graduation ready to embark on our lives. We have so much to celebrate and the reunion committee has been hard at work planning a great weekend. We've created this site to help us all stay up-to-date on all the fun events, get answers to your questions and register for the reunion.
There is no overall registration fee, however the separate events have overhead Venue costs we need to cover. No worries though, there is something for everyone! Of course, we hope that you choose to partake in ALL of the events. We promise you it will carry new memories for you for the next Fifty!
You will be able to prepay for all of the events on this website with Venmo, Zelle, or a credit card of your choosing. If you are still the ‘check-writing’ type, that option is also available.
We would appreciate all registrations to be complete as early as possible, but no later than August 15, 2023.

Details: Various golf related activities and other lawn games.
No golf clubs required but bring them if you have them.
Bring your own lunch or purchase from the food truck.
A short "real" golf experience will be available to purchase. Please indicate interest
in the registration form when you sign up for the Food Truck event.
Dress: Outside weather attire
Cost: Free will offering and if you want to enjoy the "real" golf experience,
green fees (with cart) are around $25 (payable on Saturday)

A beautiful setting for us all to start the fun weekend and reconnect with friends. We will enjoy great music, food, and a chance to reacquaint yourself with people you perhaps haven’t seen for fifty years!

Letter from Father Terry Weber
Our lives have been filled with gatherings of celebrations, blessings, sadness and obstacles to overcome throughout these years. The joy of the God-moments in your life--whether it be your spouse, special mentors, special experiences, and of course the blessings of new life in our families-- we have many reasons to enumerate our blessings. There has also been great sadness experienced by many of you from losing family members, so many of our classmates, the loss of regular routines in life caused by the Covid Virus, so many natural disasters, and lastly, the crisis in institutions in our country including, for many, the Catholic Church. (As a priest I am very much aware that the Institution of the Church is an instrument of the Holiness and goodness of God. That would be the divine. But it is also a human institution that is imperfect at times. Such as the harm done by priests who made un-Godly decisions and choices. As a representative of the church and of the priesthood, I ask for your forgiveness.)
The one thing that has been the buoy in my life is what I learned from my parents and from O’Gorman--all things are better faced and handled by a supportive community of family and friends. I am proud to have graduated from O’G and was blessed to have had the chance to return as teacher and chaplain for several years. This fall we will celebrate as a class 50 years. Sometimes I have a hard time realizing so many years have gone by, at least until I look at myself in the mirror. Lol.
There are lots of planned events to celebrate this September, including the Mass on Sunday at11:00am at St. Josephs Cathedral. Faith was at the center of O’G and probably one of the big reasons our parents sacrificed to have us go there. Maybe we have consistently celebrated that faith, maybe we got out of the habit during Covid, maybe we have been drawn away by other important things in our lives, or maybe we walked away from the Church because of hurt and bad experiences. I invite you to let that all go and gather on this day with your classmates and family to thank God for the blessings you’ve had over the last fifty years and to honor our deceased family members and classmates in prayer together. I hope to see you at the Mass and look forward to seeing you at the other events.

We have secured a block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Sioux Falls for $159/night. The discount code is 50HC. If you wish to stay at a different hotel there are several options available.
Do you need any volunteers?
We would love as much help as we can get. As you can imagine as a 3 day event there is much to be done. We will need help leading up to the weekend as well as throughout the 3 days of events.
