Dr. Jocelyn Young is assistant DIO and faculty at the UHS/Wilson Family Medicine Residency in Johnson City NY. She completed residency at the University of Rochester and a Masters in health professions education from the University of Rochester Warner School of Education.

After the presentation, attendees will be able to:
Identify patients that can be managed within primary care,
Be aware of recommended monitoring prior to, during, and after completion of treatment,
Be able to determine appropriate treatment options,
Identify when a patient is cured from Hep C

About the Speaker(s):
Peter Meacher MD is a Board Certified Family Physician, Fellow & HIV Specialist. He has been Chief Medical Officer of Callen-Lorde Community Health Center since 2013 overseeing Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health, Nursing and supportive clinical services. He was the Chief Resident and a Faculty Development Fellow at Montefiore’s Department of Family Medicine, then working as an HIV and Primary Care Provider, to become the Medical Director of a federal qualified health center (FQHC) in the South Bronx developing programs in HIV & TGNB healthcare before moving to his current position. He is active on various committees within the AIDS Institute and Community Health Centers Association New York State and has worked with American Academy of HIV Medicine. He was the LGBT representative for NYSAFP at the National Conference of Special Constituencies for several years and has articles in Family Doctor.
