18th Annual South Platte River Cleanup: On-Water
WE HAVE CANCELED THE ON-WATER PORTION OF THE CLEANUP DUE TO FLOWS. PLEASE JOIN THE FROG HOLLOW CLEANUP 1:30 PM INSTEAD (see additional info below and click HERE to view the event webpage)
We have canceled the on-water cleanup due to flows and encourage you to join the on-land cleanup at Frog Hollow at 1:30 pm instead.

- Instead of coming to Frog Hollow at 9:00 am, show up at 1:30 pm. Registration for the on-land cleanup will start at 1:30 pm and the cleanup will kick off at 2:00 pm. The cleanup will go until 3:30pm and afterward we'll head to Odell for a free celebratory beer and big prize giveaways!
- Do not bring boats, you will be walking along the shore to pick up trash. Waders and water shoes are encouraged!

Event Info
The Game Plan
We will put in at Frog Hollow Park. Please note this involves crossing a crosswalk with rafts so please bring light and smaller crafts!
From the put-in we will paddle downstream and pick up trash along a section of the South Platte.
We will take out at Fishback Park around 2pm to unload, pack-out trash, and join the other cleanup participants. Then we’ll head over to Odell Brewing Co for the after-party.

When You Arrive
A Protect Our Rivers volunteer will greet you and direct you where to unload. Please be quick about unloading your gear as space is limited.
After you unload your gear, check in at the Protect Our Rivers tent for information on shuttling your vehicle, and to gather all of the supplies and information you will need for a fun day ahead!

To utilize the shuttle, meet at the put-in no later than 9:30 am
Once again, Confluence Kayaks will be providing a complimentary shuttle to transport participants from the put-in to the take-out. They have been a key part of this cleanup since the beginning, and we wouldn't be able to pull it off without their support!
