We are pleased to invite you to the Tūrangawaewae Ruby League Sports and Cultural Club Pat Bennett Memorial Nine-a-Side Tournament, celebrating 28 years of our tournament.
This will include Mens and Womens League along with Womens and Mixed Netball grades.
The tournament will kick of Saturday 2nd March 2024 here at Paterson Park, Ngāruawāhia.
We invite all teams to join us for a fantastic day of pre-season Rugby League and Netball.

Hangi Pre Orders
Order your Hangi to save the queues. Hangi will include 2 meats, veges, stuffing and bread. Pre Order yours below for $15. Kai will be announced and location for pick up will be at the Tūrangawaewae League Club.

All games are 9 minutes each way (18 minutes with a 1 minute half time break with 9 players on the field at all times. Depending on how many teams register we hope to have the finals around 4.00pm, followed by prize-giving.
Kai Stalls/Club
There will be several kai stalls operating at the venue throughout the day. Bring cash along. The club will also be open for refreshments from 1.00pm with light entertainment.
Event
The event is a smoke, alcohol, drug free and no gang regalia event
First Aid
First Aid and Ambulance will be on site.
Teams
Teams are responsible for own strapping and mouth guards. Ice will be supplied by Tournament organisers.
