Join us for an evening created especially for physician women across Tennessee to connect, learn, and gain a deeper understanding of an important—but often overlooked—area of women’s health: the pelvic floor.

We’ll be joined by the fellowship-trained urogynecologists of the Ascension Saint Thomas Center for Female Pelvic Medicine, who will provide an engaging, practical discussion about pelvic floor anatomy and function, common pelvic floor disorders, urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, and other conditions that affect women throughout their lives. The evening will offer an opportunity to ask questions, learn what is normal versus what warrants evaluation, and better understand the treatment options available to our patients—and ourselves.

Our Faculty

Lisa Jambusaria, MD, FACOG
Dr. Jambusaria is a fellowship-trained, board-certified urogynecologist with Ascension Saint Thomas and is double board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. She specializes in pelvic floor disorders and minimally invasive robotic and vaginal pelvic reconstruction, with particular expertise in vaginal mesh and sling complications.

Amanda Merriman, MD, MPH, FACOG
Dr. Merriman is a urogynecologist with Ascension Saint Thomas who cares for women of all ages with pelvic floor disorders, including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence, rectovaginal fistulas, and vaginal mesh complications. She completed her medical training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and her urogynecology fellowship at Atrium Health/Carolinas Medical Center.

Jill Danford, MD, FACOG
Dr. Danford is a board-certified urogynecologist with Ascension Saint Thomas and is board-certified in both Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery and Obstetrics & Gynecology. A graduate of the Vanderbilt University Medical Center urogynecology fellowship, she provides medical and surgical care for urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, fistulas, and postpartum pelvic floor conditions, with a special interest in minimally invasive robotic and vaginal surgery.
