One Day. One Farm.
Thousands of Peonies.
The Third Annual Bloomin’ Peony Tour on May 16 is the only opportunity of the year to step inside Hollingsworth Peonies and experience rare and remarkable blooms at their peak.

The Rotary Club of Maryville is proud to present the Third Annual Bloomin’ Peony Tour, an exclusive, once-a-year opportunity to experience the breathtaking beauty of Hollingsworth Peonies, a world-renowned peony hybridizer and one of the largest peony farms in North America, nestled in the heart of Nodaway County, Missouri.

This is the only day of the year the farm is open to the public. Guests are invited behind the gates for a rare and unforgettable experience among acres upon acres of peonies at the absolute peak of their bloom. In addition to the sweeping fields of color, this year’s tour will feature globally respected peony varieties, including rare cultivars that have not been planted - or seen - for many years. These exceptional blooms make a return appearance, offering visitors a truly once-in-a-lifetime glimpse of flowers seldom available to the public.

Hollingsworth Peonies is a duly registered Missouri peony grower and hybridizer, known internationally for its extensive collection of herbaceous peonies, including Lactiflora (Chinese-type) peonies, hybrid peonies, Itoh (intersectional) hybrids, and select species such as Fernleaf peonies and other Paeonia varieties.

Guests are encouraged to slow down and savor the experience - wander through endless rows of blooms, capture stunning photos and enjoy time with friends and family. Bring a blanket, relax among the flowers and enjoy picnic-style dining with meal and vendor options available on site. This is more than a tour - it is a rare celebration of beauty, history and horticultural excellence, offered just once each year.
