This Organic Chemistry Community regional meeting is taking place in Aberdeen this year on the 21st of June 2023 (9:30 am - 5:30 pm). Regional meetings are free to attend with drinks and lunch provided.
We are delighted to have Dr Katherine Wheelhouse (FRSC, GlaxoSmithKline) as a plenary speaker for this meeting. Katherine is the 2022 winner of the Organic Division mid-career Award: Merck, Sharp and Dohme Award, for contributions to the application and industrialisation of chemical catalysis in the pharmaceutical industry in the pursuit of more sustainable syntheses of medicines.
The full meeting programme (list of speakers, posters, abstracts and sponsors) will be available from the 29th of May.
Prizes will be awarded for the best posters. A reception will be held at 17:30 pm.
