National Physics Day
Join us on April 24
April 24 is National Physics Day. So many students study this subject. So many students need help with their physics homework. There are
so many services and people who can help with that. So many students tie their lives to physics. So let's learn a little bit more about this day.
History of Physics DayPhysics Day has been going on since 1985. In that year, which was the International Year of Physics, thousands of people from all over the world took part. The United Nations General Assembly declared that year to be "The International Year of Physics." The goal was to make people more aware of physics and how it affects society. During 2009-2010, physics programs were held in many places around the world.
On April 24, 2011, the National Science Foundation once again called for a Physics Day. This time, it was a call to action to celebrate physics and bring more attention to how important it is to our lives.
So why April 24?This day was chosen because it is also the birthday of
Isaac Newton. Newton is thought by many to be one of the best physicists ever. He found out about the laws of motion, gravity, and a lot more. So much of what we know about physics is because of what he did. Newton and his work inspired so many people to study physics. So celebrating Physics Day on this day makes sense.

Why celebrate Physics Day?
Physics helps us figure out how the world works. It helps us improve how technology works. By having Physics Day, more people might learn about physics and how it affects their lives. This could inspire people to become scientists and engineers in the future.
Even though many students learn about physics in school, some may not realize how physics is used in everyday things like using a smartphone or driving a car. On Physics Day, students can learn about physics and how they can use it in their own lives.
This day is also a great time for students, teachers, and both amateur and professional physicists to get together and learn more about physics. The events and activities that help students learn more about science can be anything from lectures to hands-on activities.
Things to do on Physics Day
International Physics Day is celebrated by so many people and groups. Events will be put on by schools, colleges, universities, museums, forums, and conferences. Here are just a few things you can do to celebrate Physics Day:
- Watch movies like Star Wars or Avengers that are about physics;
- Find physics-related exhibits at museums;
- Find out about what physics research is going on right now;
- Give a talk about your favorite physics topic to your school, library, or community group;
- Take part in a physics-focused conference or forum;
- Learn about the environment from a physics point of view;
- Think about physics concepts like gravity, momentum, and energy as you ride your bike;
- Work with a community group to do a physics-based service project for the community.
