After eight years of calling Anderson Island home, I'm embarking on a project close to my heart: capturing portraits of our island neighbors. "Portrait of an Island" is my way of honoring this community through the craft I love—professional portrait photography.
I'm setting up a pop-up studio at the Anderson Island Historical Society's Archival Building to make this accessible to everyone. Whether you're a longtime resident or visiting family for Thanksgiving, I invite you to be part of this island archive and to take advantage of professional portrait services from the comfort and convenience of our collective backyard.
Free Archival Portrait Sessions (5 minutes) Single grouping/look - Limit One per HouseholdBe part of Anderson Island's visual history. These complimentary sessions are my gift to the community—a chance to document who we are, right now, in this place we all love. You'll receive a digital file to share online, with the option to purchase custom prints.

A Note on AccessibilityThis project is about community, and I want it to be available to everyone. If cost is a barrier for your family, please reach out to me directly—I'm happy to discuss sliding scale options. Email me at

Limited Availability Sessions are offered over three days with limited spaces.
Registration is required. As a fellow islander, I know how rare it is to have professional photography services this close to home—and at prices that respect our community. I've timed these sessions to coincide with Thanksgiving gatherings so families can create lasting memories together and have beautiful images to share or give as holiday gifts.
Let's create something lasting—a portrait of our island, one neighbor at a time.
Special Thanks to Island Arts for sponsoring this project.
