Anti-Racism Training
One of the missional priorities of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is to be a Pro-Reconciling/Anti-Racist church. We have lived that priority out in different ways here in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the Southwest. At the September 2020 Regional Committee on Ministry session the Committee established the requirement for Pro-Reconciliation/Anti-Racism training for any clergy wishing to hold standing in the Christian Church in the Southwest.

We are excited to announce that have created our own curriculum C.A.R.E. (clergy anti-racism education). This will function as the next level of education for Clergy after they have completed the Pro-Reconciliation/Anti-Racism Training (PR/AR).

Think of the PR/AR as 101 and C.A.R.E. as the 201 level course- complete 101 before moving on to 201.

Regional anti-racism training will function on a three-year cycle, you will need to complete a Regional anti-racism training once every three years to maintain your standing.
